What we offer
B.P Piano Tuning & Repairs cover all aspects of piano servicing from tuning, simple repairs (such as restringing, key repairs etc..) and adjustments through to more complicated reconditioning where necessary. Feel free to call, email or use the form on the contact page to enquire about any repairs you may need.
How often a piano needs tuning is dependent on factors such as how often it is used, and the temperature/humidity it is kept (See Piano Maintenance page for more details). The majority of customers have their pianos tuned either every 6 or 12 months. B.P Piano Tuning & Repairs offers a convenient reminder service to customers who wish to be contacted after a certain time to rebook. Tunings take an average of 2 hours depending on how regularly they are tuned and what condition the piano is in.
How much it costs
A standard tuning costs just £40 within a 10 mile radius of Bolton, with a small increase to cover extra travel costs over this distance. Occasionally there may be extra costs if your piano is badly out of tune and requires 'pitch raising', you will always be notified of this before it is completed. There are discounts available for regular tunings.
